About Us

Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident, sunt in coulpa qui official modeserunt mollit anim id est 20 years experience.

CGL Roofing was formed by Liam Hayes and his father before Liam left to work on sites in the ‘big city’ to see and learn a lot more about the roofing trade. During Liam’s time away from the family business, he gained invaluable experience with new materials and different specifications and technicalities of different jobs. Liam was also called upon to run large teams on 7 thousand metre squared roofs whilst juggling jobs on flat roofs, gutter lining, and tile repairs.
Liam took over the business full time having gained experience at the highest levels and from his highly experienced father and the techniques he utilised whilst also implementing the latest materials with a modern-day outlook to the company’s traditional values.
CGL is forever developing and continually undertaking courses to further our knowledge and expertise whilst also getting trained up on the newest materials, taking in new methods for roof repair and construction.

We hope soon to be adding green roofing and liquid plastic roofing to our services as we are rapidly developing the eco-friendly side of things now and focusing on making roofs environmentally friendly as well as looking great.

We focus on what we’re good at and we work tirelessly to provide a professional and quality service that is underpinned by competitive pricing. That’s why we’re contracted regularly by established commercial roofing clients such as Tenpin Bowling and McDonalds and residential customers who come back to us time and time again.

We work on gutter liners for valley, seamless, concrete and industrial gutters. CGL Roofing and Commercial Gutterliner services cover a 50-mile service radius from Luton & Dunstable, Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire, and Greater London and travel nationwide for larger requirements and jobs.

A common problem with industrial roofs is where the internal gutters are leaking. These gutters tend to come in three metre interlocking sections and therefore there are joints every three metres.

Gutters start to rust and corrode if left untreated. CGL’s high quality gutter lining prevents rust, corrosion and other wear and tear. We have come across all shapes, sizes and profiles and have great success in lining with our seamless polypropylene gutterflex membrane into existing gutters.

A favourite on smaller roofs as the pro to this material is if you get it right then this can come with no joins. Meaning a seamless roof and impossible to leak.

GRP is comprised of polyester resin and chopped strand mat glass fibres, which are mixed together to form a laminate. GRP fibreglass has become one of the most popular forms of flat roofing systems because it is not only a strong material but doesn’t add too much extra weight to the structure.
